    Motor for DC29 replacement

    Replaced the motor on the old Dyson. Followed an online tutorial. Took a few goes to get it all back together again but now the old vacuum is as good as new for a very inexpensive price. Package took a week to arrive.

    Product arrived on time and was installed without issue giving a Dyson DC08 a new lease on life and avoiding another item going to the landfill. Happy Customer :-)

    It was an hours work to dismantle the vacuum and reassemble. The new motor works well and has good suction. For me it was cheaper to buy a new motor and install it than buying a new vacuum.

    Metal cover was off when delivered, small dents in cover that prevents stable fit,problem resolved when fitting original rubber flange,motor seems to run with good suction despite the dents and lose fitting

    Runs slow, low suction. Raised with Vacuum Spares 14 days ago. Apparently still investigating. Getting the run around. Poor customer service. Not good enough.
