    Metal cover was off when delivered, small dents in cover that prevents stable fit,problem resolved when fitting original rubber flange,motor seems to run with good suction despite the dents and lose fitting

    Runs slow, low suction. Raised with Vacuum Spares 14 days ago. Apparently still investigating. Getting the run around. Poor customer service. Not good enough.

    Quick, inexpensive and works perfectly

    Our DC08 vac sounded odd and smelt of burnt insulation. A You Tube video showed how it comes apart easily. On motor removal I found the commutator was burnt. The brushes were OK so I deduced the windings were shorted. Finding this motor online replacement seemed like good value. It arrived promptly and fitted without hassles. The vac is now working again, just like it did before it failed.
