Powerhead for DYSON V7 V8 V10 V11 V15 & Outsize Vacuum Cleaners

I am an appliance repairer, this is a good replacement for a dyson floor head. Please note the steering is like the dyson fluffy roller heads, and feels a bit different to the normal dyson motorhead at first. A very good product, I will be buying them for customers again I imagine. One issue though, with Vacuumspares, my customer had issues using this, turned out when I had a go just due to the steering, but originally was unhappy as it did not work well, and having had the previous dyson head for years (before someone else used and broke it) I did not hesitate to take the customer's word for it. I asked Vacuumspares about a refund as it was faulty, not functioning properly. They said they would only refund the item, not the original postage. I said this would be fine if it was a customer (my) error, wrong model, or we did not like the look of it, etc., but that if it was faulty they really should refund the whole amount. I told them that it was just a user error with steering, and did not need to return it in the end, but I hope next time, when it is a faulty item, they offer the postage too. Not that it is much, but it is the principle of the thing. They said it was not faulty, I said, if it was not working, that it is faulty regardless of whether it broke, or whether it was originally designed poorly, and worked as designed, but was not up to what it was bought for. To be clear, a good item, just move it at a good speed, do not run around with it, and the steering will be fine. And I hope Vacuumspares is better with the refund for the next person. Good service, but I would have gone to PayPal to get the money if needed, as VS were firm on their position.

Bought this for our Dyson V11 oversize. Works a treat, only thing is it’s a little narrower than the original, my bad I didn’t check the size. I’ll be buying a bigger one soon.

PRO'S: Cheaper than a genuine DYSON part. Has a light which is very helpful CON'S No where near as powerful as the original DYSON powerhead, very disappointing. Does not have the the same swivel ability as DYSON powered. Would I buy it again? Probably not.

Amazing power head! Even has a light which I wasn't aware of. Glides smoother and easier than the original head for more than half the price! Id buy another in a heartbeat if this one broke.

Great Powerhead! I love how it lights up and shows the dirt in the floor and it’s perfect for my wooden floors . It works well with my Dyson stick vacuum. I am very happy with it

Had trouble getting it to fit. It took us hours didn’t fit till we jiggled the area where the prongs are and eventually got it in. Very impressed at how well it works. Before I got it I thought that the light would be a waste of time but find it is actually practical and love it. My daughter now wants to get one! Ok as long as she pays for it ha ha!
