I purchased a new hose for my old dyson upright vacuum cleaner from vacuum spares after I rang dyson to get a replacement, only to be told they don't make the hoses anymore as the model was retired, but they could sell me a new vacuum cleaner! Lucky I found vacuum spares on line. My hose was exactly what I needed, and arrived within a week, and great quality could not be happier.
