    I purchased this attachment as we have real hardwood floors and they scratch so easily. I feel like I can vacuum my floors now properly without having to worry that they are getting ruined. The brush head is really soft and sucks up animal fur, crumb

    Buying the Dyson brand replacement was the best choice as I knew it would be good quality. Dyson should look at how this product is made however. It has felt pieces which glide over the floor, bit in time these felt pieces wear out and that is why I had to get a replacement. I have highly polished floor boards and the old one was scratching the floor. The same problem is going to happen again in a few years and I will need to replace again. By then it will be a new and different model as the battery will be the next thing to go, as well as a new Head.

    Glad to have received the Dyson V10 Fluffy Head. Is definitely a genuine part but feel that the felt piece has the same drawbacks as the original as it is pretty thin and don’t see it lasting that long if it is used regularly. Dyson can definitely improve that part perhaps with a brush rather a velvet piece at the sides.
